What’s an Affiliate and How Does It Work?

Short Guide: Enrollment
Although the affiliate program doesn’t begin until July 11, you may enroll immediately so that you are ready for the July 11 launch.  To enroll in the affiliate program, please click the link below or paste it into your browser.  Once there, click the Create Account, button in the middle of the page to begin the enrollment process.

When you finish the first page, click the Proceed button to continue to the next page of the enrollment process.  NOTE: If you have already purchased an eBook or any other product in the CoreBrain store, you must use a different email address to register as an affiliate. If you try to use the same email address, you will get an error message and will not be allowed to finish registering as an affiliate. On page 2, please enter your website if you have one or just enter your name in the website field if you don’t have a website.  Having a website is NOT required to participate in the affiliate program.  Per IRS requirements, we do need a valid tax ID or Social Security number in case payments to you exceed the IRS threshold for providing 1099’s to you at the end of the year – we hope you top out.  You will get paid for every book connected/sent in through your affiliate link.

Approval of Enrollment
Approval of your enrollment will often be completed within 24 hours [and generally faster than that] with the exception that initial enrollments done prior to July 11 will not be approved until just prior to July 11 – at 5PM on July 10.  When your affiliate enrollment has been approved, you will receive an email notification – so do watch for it Sat PM or early Sunday to link it up wherever you plan to start.

Get your links
When you receive notification of the approval of your affiliate enrollment, return to the store at http://store.corepsych.com/myaccount.asp , login using the credentials you originally used when you created your affiliate profile.  Once you have logged in, go to the Affiliate Statistics area and click View Details.  Then go to the My Links area and follow the instructions to get 1. either the website [html] link or 2. an email link or 3. both.  From there add the html to your  website or use the email link in emails and start earning affiliate fees. Bookmark this link for easy review as we move down the road together.

Getting Paid
Getting paid is easy.  As sales from your link are processed and approved, you will receive an affiliate payment of $15.00 for each eBook sold at the regular price of $37.00 beginning July 11, 2010.  Note that affiliate fees will not be paid for sales of any other products on the web site.  You will be paid via PayPal once per calendar quarter for all approved sales.  The First Payment will be for sales made through September 30, 2010 and will be made by October 30, 2010.  Each subsequent quarter will be handled in the same way.
