ADHD Hyperactive Diagnosis: Labels By Description Miss the Mark
The Treatment Challenge: If we shoot our best medications by appearances, by description, and thereby miss the person, miss how that person actually functions, we often shoot wild.

Regrettably, diagnostic targets remain mostly descriptive because brain function remains, to some, a mystery in the office. SPECT functional brain imaging experience shows, reassuringly, that we can and should change the way we ask questions – without scanning every patient.
